5、ent.Thecomplexitiesandproblemsassociatedwithamobile-wirelessenvi-ronmentshouldbeinsulatedfromtheuser.Thisnewtypeofcomputingiswhatwecallpervasivecomputing.Inthisthesis,aframeworkforaccessinglocation-awareservices(serviceinvoca-tion)andtheprotocolsinvolvedforaus
6、ertobeabletoaccessservicesacrossdifferentlocationsandnetworks(serviceroaming)arepresented.Serviceadvertisement,ser-viceregistration,andservicediscoveryneedtobeperformedbeforeserviceinvocation.TheproposedframeworkusesWebservicestoachievetheseobjectives.Specifical
7、ly,WebServicesDescriptionLanguage(WSDL)andUniversalDescription,DiscoveryandIntegration(UDDI)areusedforserviceadvertisementandregistration,UDDIisusedforservicediscovery,andSimpleObjectAccessProtocol(SOAP)isusedforserviceexecution.Inordertodeterminetheparticular
