3、saresuperiortothosefromhypocotylsoryoungleavesinregenerationviasomaticembryogenesis.Wehavealsodemonstratedthat2,4-dichlorophenoxyaceticacidisefficientforbothcallusinductionandembryogenesis,indole-3-aceticacidissuitableforembryogeniccallusproliferation,andNAsup6A-(benzyl)-adeninepromotesb
4、othembryodevelopmentandtheaccumulationofgentiopicrosideinthecultures.Regeneratedplantshavebeenselectedforhighgentiopicrosideconten匸Oneplantcontains5.82%ofgentiopicroside,whichishigherthanthecontrolplants(1.20-3.73%).Theregeneratedplantsaregeneticallymorestablethanthecallusesbasedonbothcy
