4、heChuangAutonomousRegionofKwangsi—astepdesignedtohelpfostertheculturalautonomyoftheChuang,orChuang-chia,people,whoconstitutethelargestminoritylivingintheregion.PhysicalandhumangeographyThelandReliefKwangsiformsatablelandthatdescendsinelevationfromthenort
5、handnorthwesttothesouthandsoutheast.Elevationsbetween3,000and6,000feet(900and1,800metres)abovesealevelarereachedattheedgeoftheYunnan-Kweichowplateauinthenorthwest,theChiu-wanandFeng-huangmountainsinthenorth,andtheYueh-ch"engMountainsinthenortheast.Thegre
6、aterpartoftheregioniscomposedofhillycountrylyingataheightofbetween1,500to3,000feet.Tnthewest,theTu-yangMountdinsriseto6,500feet.Inthesouthcast,lowlandsaresituatedataheightofbetween300and1,500feet.ThepredominanceoflimestonegivesmanypartsofKwangsiaspectacu
