3、World'sFair)isthenamegiventovariouslargepublicexhibitionsheldsincethemid-19thcentury.TheyarethethirdlargesteventintheworldintermsofeconomicandculturalimpactaftertheFIFAWorldCupandtheOlympicGames-Theyhavebeenorganizedformorethanoneandahalfcenturies一longerthanboththe(mod
4、ern)OlympicGamesandtheWorldCup.ThefirstExpowasheldinTheCrystalPalaceinHydePark,London,in1851underthetitle"GreatExhibitionoftheWorksofIndustryofAllNations”.“TheGreatExhibition^,asitisoftencalled,wasanideaofPrinceAlbert,QueenVictorianshusband,andwasthefirstinternationale
5、xhibitionofmanufacturedproducts.Assuch,itinfluencedthedevelopmentofseveralaspectsofsocietyincludingartanddesigneducation,internationaltradeandrelations,andeventourism.Also,itwastheprecedentforthemanyinternationalexhibitions,latercalled"WorlcTsFairs",whichweresubsequent
6、lyheldtothepresentday.InAcapulco,NewSpain(Mexico),annualfairstookplaceforseveralcenturieswherecountriesfromAsiaexhibitedtheirproductsbroughttotheNewWorldbytheSpanishRoyalNavyNaodeChina.ThemainattractionsatWorld'sFairsarethenationalpavilions,createdbyparticipatingcountr
