3、5－2708AbstractTheHongniudepositisanewlydiscoveredskarntypecopperdepositinGezavolcanic-magmaticarcwhichislocatedinthesouthernpartofYidunislandarc.Itscopperreserveshavereachedthelargesize.Distinctlydifferentfromthetypicalskarndeposits，itsskarnandhornfelsusuallyarr

4、angedalternately，consistingwiththeattitudeofstratum.Skarnisnotindirectcontactwiththeintrusiverocksbutdirectcontactwiththemarble.Therearecoarsegarnetandwollastonitevisibleinthemarble.While，therealsohavemarblexenolithsintheskarn.Therefore，theHongniucopperdepositis
