3、ehisprincipalteacherswereAndrewImbrieandOllyWilsonincompositionandRichardFelcianoinanalysis.Hehascomposedmorethan45worksforawidevarietyofinstrumentalandvocalensembles.HisworkshavebeenperformedinNewYork,SanFrancisco,Chicago,LosAngeles,England,Ireland,Greece,Italy,a
4、ndtheNetherlands,wheretheAmsterdamConcertgebouwperformedhisChild’sPlayforStringQuartet.HisnumeroushonorsincludethreeNicoladeLorenzoCompositionPrizesandthreeMeet-the-ComposerGrants.RecentcommissionshavecomefromtheKoussevitzkyFoundationattheLibraryofCongress,theAlex
5、anderStringQuartet,theSanFranciscoContemporaryMusicPlayers,SanFranciscoPerformances,theStrataEnsemble,andtheXTETensemble.ProfessorGreenbergisaboardmemberandanartisticdirectorofCOMPOSERS,INC.,acomposers’collective/productionorganizationbasedinSanFrancisco.Hismusici
6、spublishedbyFallenLeafPressandCPP/BelwinandisrecordedontheInnovalabel.Hehasperformed,taught,andlecturedextensivelyacrossNorthAmericaandEurope.Heiscurrentlymusic-historian-in-residencewithSanFranciscoPerformances,wherehehaslecturedandperformedsince1994,andresidentc
