4、eofanend-systemcooperativearchitecturenetworks,wherethenodesneedtomakeblockforwardingistheBitTorrentsystem,whichbecameextremelypopulardecisionsbasedonlocalinformationonly.WecomparenetworkasawayofdeliveringtheLinuxdistributionsandothercodingtootherschemesthattransmitunencodedinformation(i.e
5、.popularcontent.Bitlbrrentsplitsthefileintosmallblocks,blocksoftheoriginalfile)and,also,toschemesinwhichonlythesourceisallowedtogenerateandtransmitencodedpackets.andimmediatelyafteranodedownloadsablockfromtheWestudytheperformanceofnetworkcodinginheterogeneousoriginserverorfromanotherpeer,t
6、henodebehavesasaservernetworkswithdynamicnodearrivalanddeparturepatterns,clus-forthatparticularblock,and,thus,contributesresourcesforteredtopologies,andwhenincentivemechanismstodiscourageservingtheblock.Furtherdesignchoices,suchasintelligentfree-ridingareinplece.Wedemonstratethroughsimulat
