6、ledgement.Inthemeantime,vastnumbersofcomputershavebeenmanufacturedandused,eachwithitsattendantenvironmentalconsequences.TherehasbeenaconsiderableincreaseinthenumberofITdevicespossessedbythewell-to-dointherichestpartsoftheworld(orprovidedbyemployersfortheirexclusiveuse).IT
