3、ial,geographicenvironment,economiclevel,populationandpropagationdistance,aredefined.Basedonthecharacteristicsofculturaltransmission,wepresentatwo-dimensionalcellautomata(CA)modelandsimulatetheevolutionaryprocessinvariousparameterswithrespecttotheleadingfactors.Theresul

4、tssuggestthattheself-survivalanddevelopmentcapacityofcertaincultureisproportionaltothelocaleconomiclevelandpopulation,butinverselyproportionaltotheculturalsaturationtime.Thecumulatepopulationofacultureshowsa“S”-typegrowth,andtheultimateeffects(saturationrate)ofcultural
