4、eyears,5-6pairsnestedon8oacres,thenestsbeingwellspaced,butthespeciesisnotterritorial.3.Inwoodland,manynestswereinthorns,usuallyBrambleorHawthorn,usually3-5feetup,manyotherswereinabarefork,usuallyofOakorAsh,usually30-70feetup,andsomewereinthornlesstwigs,
5、suchasClematisorSpruce,usuallyatanintermediateheight.4.Thebirdsoftenchangedtheirtypeofnestingsiteforrepeatnests,whichwereusually50-80yardsaway,occasionally550-700yardsawayfromthefirstnest.5.OtherBritishobservershavefoundnearlyallnestsinlowthorns,whilein
