4、ionanditsinteractionwithroutinghasnetworkprotocollayers.AttheMAClayer,sensornodesbeenthesubjectofseveralpreviousstudies,someofneedtocoordinatewirelesstransmissionandpacketfor-whicharebrieflyreviewedinSectionII.wardingtoexploitmultiuserdiversityinpacketreception.Muchoftheexistingworkonco

5、rrelateddatagatheringAtthenetworklayer,inordertoachievehighdiversityandcompressiongains,routingmustbebasedonametricthatimplicitlyassumesroutingtechniquessimilartothoseisdependentonnotonlylink-qualitybutalsocompressioninwirelinenetworks,neglectingthecharacteristicsofopportunities.Atthea
