3、epted:10Sep.2015)AbstractManyofnonlinearsystemsinthefieldofengineeringsuchasnano-resonatorandatomicforcemicroscopecanbemodeledbasedonDuffingequation.Analyticalfrequencyresponseofthissystemhelpsusanalyzedifferentinterestingnonlinearbehaviorsappearinginitsresponseduetoitsrichdynamics.Inthispaper
4、,thegeneralformofDuffingequationwithcubicnonlinearityaswellasparametricexcitationsisconsideredanditsfrequencyresponseisderivedutilizingHomotopyAnalysisMethod(HAM)forthefirsttime.AlthoughtimeresponseofdifferentDuffingsystemshasbeenanalyzedusingHAM,derivationofitsfrequencyresponseequationbyapply
5、ingthispowerfulmethodhasnotbeenpresented.Themainadvantageofproposedsimpleclosed-formsolutionisthatitisnotrestrictedtoweaklynonlinearsystemsincontrastwithperturbationmethods.BecauseofnumerousapplicationsofMicro-electro-mechanicalresonatoranditsrichandnonlineardynamics,itisconsideredasacasestudy
6、inthispaperandtheobtainedanalyticalequationisappliedtofinditsfrequencyresponse.Thevalidationofanalyticalmethodisverifiedbycomparingtheresultswithnumericalsimulations.Itisalsoshownthatproposedclosed-formequationfornano-resonatorfrequencyresponsecancapturebothhardeningandsofteningbehaviorofnano-
