2、whichwillappearonthemidtermexaminationnextTuesday.Examisopenbook,opennotes,closedcomputerTheexaminationisopen-book(specificallythecoursetextbookTheArtandScienceofJavaandtheKareltheRobotcoursereader)andyoumaymakeuseofanyhandouts,coursenotes/slides,printoutsofyourprogramsorothernotesyou'vetak
3、enintheclass.Youmaynot,however,useacomputerofanykind(i.e.,youcannotuselaptopsontheexam).CoverageThemidtermexamcoversthematerialpresentedinclassthroughtoday(October24th),whichmeansthatyouareresponsiblefortheKarelmaterialplusChapters1through9oftheclasstextbookTheArtandScienceofJava,plustheuse
4、ofmouselistenersfromChapter10(sections10.1-10.4).Datafiles(whichwillbecoveredinclassonFriday)arenotcoveredontheexam.GeneralinstructionsAnswereachofthequestionsincludedintheexam.Writeallofyouranswersdirectlyontheexaminationpaper,includinganyworkthatyouwishtobeconsideredforpartialcredit.Eachq
5、uestionismarkedwiththenumberofpointsassignedtothatproblem.Thetotalnumberofpointsis90.Weintendforthenumberofpointstoberoughlycomparabletothenumberofminutesyoushouldspendonthatproblem.Inallquestions,youmayincludemethodsordefinitionsthathavebeendevelopedinthecourse,eitherbywritingtheimportline
6、fortheappropriatepackageorbygivingthenameofthemethodandthehandoutorchapternumberinwhichthatdefinitionappears.Unlessotherwiseindicatedaspartoftheinstructionsforaspecificproblem,commentswillnotberequiredontheexam.Uncommentedcodethatgetsthejobdonewillbesufficientforfullcreditontheproblem.Onthe
