3、cuncertainties.However,theproblemofconcurrentadaptationtobothkinematicanddynamicuncertaintieshasneverbeensystematicallysolved.Thisisthesubjectofthispaper.WederiveanewadaptiveJacobiancontrollerfortrajectorytrackingofrobotwithuncertainkinematicsanddynamics.Itisshownthattherobotend
4、effectorisabletoconvergetoadesiredtrajectorywiththeuncertainkinematicsanddynamicsparametersbeingupdatedonlinebyparameterupdatelaws.Thealgorithmrequiresonlytomeasuretheend-effectorposition,besidestherobot’sjointanglesandjointvelocities.Theproposedcontrollercanalsobeextendedtoadap
5、tivevisualtrackingcontrolwithuncertaincameraparameters,takingintoconsiderationtheuncertaintiesofthenonlinearrobotkinematicsanddynamics.Experimentalresultsarepresentedtoillustratetheperformanceoftheproposedcontrollers.Intheexperiments,wedemonstratethattherobot’sshadowcanbeusedtoc

7、differentandunknownkinematicanddynamicproperties,andmanipulatethemskillfullytoaccomplishatask.Wecanalsogripatoolatdifferentgraspingpointsandorientations,anduseitwithoutanydifficulty.Otherexamplesincludetennisandgolfplaying,andwalkingonstilts.Inallcases,peopleseemtoextendtheirself
