3、ntialprognosticfactorarecommonlyreportedinmedicalpublication.Wehavedevelopedauser-friendlymacroprogramtocreateatablewiththeestimatesatcertainspecifiedtimepointsandthep-valuesfromlog-ranktestforasmanyprognosticfactorsasastudywantstoexamine.Alongwiththetable,theKaplan-Meiercurvesaregeneratedwiththead
4、ventofODSgraphics.INTRODUCTIONInalmosteverysurvivalanalysisofmedicalstudies,atablewithestimatesatdesiredtimepointsandthep-valuesfromlog-ranktestforcomparisonsofsurvivaldistributionsbetweendifferentsub-groupsisreportedtoexplorethepotentialprognosticfactorsofsurvival.Thetablealsohelpstodeterminethepr
5、ognosticfactorswhichshouldbefurtherexaminedinmultivariablesurvivalanalysissuchasCoxproportionalhazardsmodel.Aprogramtoautomatethegenerationofsuchatableisimportanttoensureaccuracyandreduceprogrammingtime.1-7ManySASprogramshavebeenwrittentoproducetheKaplan-Meiercurves,butnoneofthemproducetheestimates
6、ofsurvivalatdifferenttimepointsaswell.TheSASMacrodescribedinthispaperusesPROCLIFETEST,basicSASprocedures,ODSGRAPHICSandODSRTFdestinationtogenerateatablewhichcontainstheestimatedsurvivalratesandstandarderrorsatdifferentdesiredtimepointsandthelog-ranktestsforthecomparisonofsurvivaldistributionsbetwee
