4、andreceivedtamoxifenasanadjuvanttreatmentthroughoutthecourseofthestudy.Asacontrolgroup,15age-matchedhealthywomenwereincluded.Atbaseline,therewerenodifferencesinbloodpressureandheartratevaluesbetweenbreastcancerpatientsandhealthywomen.Withrespecttothelymphocy
5、tesubsetsatbaseline,patientshadsigni®cantlyhigherabsolutenumbersofCD16:56(NK)cells.WespeculatethattheincreaseincirculatingNKcellscanbeeitherasignofactivationofaspeci®cnaturalimmunitycausedbytumorcellsoranimmunostimulatoryeffectoftamoxifen.Nodifferenceswerefo
