2、rueforsubjectsthatarehighlymathematical,asisthesubjectofIntroductiontoFourierOptics.However,therearemanydifferenttypesofproblemsthatonecouldimagine.Someinvolvestraightforwardsubstitutionintoequationsthathavebeenestablishedinthetext;suchproblemsareusefulinso
3、farastheyrelateanabstractmathematicalresulttoarealsituation,withphysicalnumbersthatmightbeencounteredinpractice.Otherproblemsmayaskstudentstoapplymethodssimilartothoseusedinthetext,buttoapplythemtoaproblemthatisdifferentinsomesignificantaspectfromtheonetheyh
