2、_____________________________________AbstractDifferentalumina-supportedchromiacatalystswerepreparedbyvaryingthechromiumoxide2loadingfrom3.6to17µmolCr/m.Previouscharacterizationstudiesonthecatalysts2revealedthatthemonolayerlimitwas~9µmolCr/m.Thedifferentcatalystsweretestedandfoundtobeactiveforthe

3、dehydrogenation(DH)ofpropane.Propenewasformedonallthechromiasupportedcatalystsamples.Therateofpropaneconvertedincreasedwithchromiumoxidecontenttillmonolayerlimitandthendecreased.Interestingly,thisbehaviourparalleledtherateofpropaneconvertedduringtheoxidativedehydrogenation(ODH)ofpropanesuggestin
