4、95;CasasandGrebogi,1997),thenonlinearcontrolmethod(Khovanovetal.,2000;Tian,1999),theadaptivecontrolmethod(Boccaletti,Farini,andArecchi,1997;LiaoandLin,1999),theneutralnetworksmethod(Hirasawaetal.,2000;Poznyak,Yu,andSanchez,1999),andthefuzzycontrolmethod(Tanaka,Ikeda,andWang,1998).Someofthe

5、mhavealsobeenproposedtostabilizethechaoticbehaviorinelectricdrivesystems.Inthischapter,variouscontrolapproaches,includingthetime-delayfeedbackcontrol,thenonlinearfeedbackcontrol,thebacksteppingcontrol,thedynamicsurfacecontrolandtheslidingmodecontrol,areintroducedtostabilizethechaosthatoccu
