2、conductionandvalencebandextremaareatk=0.Thesmallbandgaprequiresanaccuratetreatmentofconductionandvalencebandinteractionswhilehigherbandsaretreatedbyperturbationtheory.Ahighlynonparabolicconductionbandisfound.Thevalencebandisquitesimilartogermanium.Energytermsline
