2、delaycircuitbasedonfiberInthisreport,weproposeanovelopticaldelaycircuitloopswhereopticalphaseconjugatorandDistributedRamanbasedon3opticalswitchesand2fiberloops,wheretheamplificationareappliedtosuppressbothKerreffectandopticalphaseconjugationandtheDRAareappliedfor

3、fiberdispersioninordertoextendthedelaytime.ThenumericalsimulationresultshowsthatourproposedopticalproducingtheflatpowermapinordertocompensatethedelaycircuitcangivethemaximumdelaytimeintheorderofKerreffectandthefiberdispersion.Theperformanceofour10msforthedatarate

4、ashighas160Gbit/s.delaycircuitisexaminedbynumericalsimulations.ComparingtoothertypesofdelaycircuitswhichcanI.INTRODUCTIONprovidethemaximumdelaytimesmallerthan10s,ourAllopticaldelaycircuitisanessentialcomponentforsimulationresultsdemonstratethattheproposeddelayrea

5、lizingtheall-opticalpacketswitchingnetworkbecauseitcircuitcangivethemaximumdelaytimelongerthan10mscanprovidethereductionofbothpacketcollisionandforthedatarateashighas160Gbit/s.packetloss,andalsoitisnecessaryforperformingthepacketqueuing[1].However,itistechnologic

6、allyveryII.FIBER-LOOPDELAYCIRCUITEMPLOYINGOPCANDDRAdifficulttodelayanopticalpacketinopticaldomain.ManyopticaldelaycircuitsthathavebeenproposedaremainlyOurproposedall-opticaldelaycircuitisschematicallybasedontwoconfigurations.ThefirstschemeistolettheshowninFig.1.T
