3、ions,sothecuesofcontourandtexturedifferencesareexploitedsimultaneously.Contoursaretreatedintheinterveningcontourframework,whiletextureisanalyzedusingtextons.Eachofthesecueshasadomainofapplicability,sotofacilitatecuecombinationweintroduceagatingoperatorbasedonthet
4、exturednessoftheneighborhoodatapixel.Havingobtainedalocalmeasureofhowlikelytwonearbypixelsaretobelongtothesameregion,weusethespectralgraphtheoreticframeworkofnormalizedcutstofindpartitionsoftheimageintoregionsofcoherenttextureandbrightness.Experimentalresultsonawi
