4、aseintheconservationequations.Simulationswithconsiderationofthenetflowtermindicatethattheoverallresultscomparefavourablywithavailableexperimentaldatafromanindustrialfluidised-bedgasifierreportedintheliterature.Thenetflowissignificant,intherange71-87%relativet

5、othefeedgasrate,stronglydependingonthecoalrank,heterogeneousreactionratesandvolatilematterreleasedinthebed.Thehigherthecoalrank,thelowerthenetflowandtotalexcessgasflow.Thelargevolumeofnetflowgeneratedcansignificantlychangethefluidisationconditionsinthebedandt
