6、toevadetheimmunemouseandhumans.Mammalianorthologueswereidentifiedforsystemandpersistundetectedwithinphagocytes,anditisthere-70%oftheDrosophilaphagosomeproteins(SupplementaryTableforeevidentthatadetailedknowledgeofthisprocessisessentialtoS1).Ofthe140proteinspreviouslyidentifiedinthemammaliana
7、nunderstandingofmanyaspectsofinnateandadaptiveimmun-phagosome,100(70%)hadorthologueswithintheDrosophila5–7ity.However,despitethecrucialroleofphagosomesinimmunity,phagosome,indicatingthatS2cellswereavalidsystemfromwhichtheircomponentsandorganizationarenotfullydefined.Heretoderiveamodelofphago
