4、dthem?Thefirstquestioninturnprovidehintsthatcanbeusedbythereaderwhoalreadyhastacitknowledgeofhastwoaspects:whatconditionsareimposedonthelanguagefacultybyvirtuelanguageandofparticularlanguages.Thisishardlyadiscoveryuniquetoof(A)itsplacewithinthearrayofcognitivesystemsofthemind/brain,and(B)linguisti
5、cs.Typically,whenquestionsaremoresharplyformulated,itislearnedgeneralconsiderationsofsimplicity,elegance,andeconomythathavesomethatevenelementaryphenomenahadescapednoticeandthatintuitiveaccountsindependentplausibility?thatseemedsimpleandpersuasiveareentirelyinadequate.Ifwearesatisfiedthatanapplefa
6、llstothegroundbecausethatisitsnaturalplace,therewillbenoQuestion(B)isnotprecise,butnotwithoutcontent,asinthenaturalsciencesseriousscienceofmechanics.Thesameistrueifoneissatisfiedwithtraditionalgenerally.Question(A)hasanexactanswer,butonlypartsofitcanbesurmised,rulesforformingquestionsorwiththelexi
