2、utiveSummary1.ThreeclustersofWindFarmshavebeenproposedbyAEDBatJhimpir,KhuttikunandBhanboreallocatinglandsto23developers,eachtodevelop50MWWindPowerPlant.Inshortandmediumtermperspective,500-700MWofWindPowerisexpectedtocomeonlinebytheyear2014.Theschemeofdevelopingt

3、heGridtointerconnectthispowerhasbeenstudiedinthisReport.Detailedloadflow,shortcircuitandstabilitystudieshavebeenperformedtotechnicallyevolvethisscheme.2.ThestrengthandcapacityoftheexistingGridnearbyhasbeenstudiedandanalyzed.ThereexistsJhimpirsubstationof132/11kV

4、neartheJhimpircluster.Anewdoublecircuitof132kVhasbeenconstructedbetweenJhimpirandNooriabadthatcrossesontheperipheryofthiscluster.ThepossibilityofmakinguseofthesetransmissionfacilitiesfortheevacuationofpowerofWindFarmsofJhimpirclusterhasbeenprobedandanalyzed.3.Fo

5、rKhuttikunandBhanboreclustersofWindfarms,thenearestsubstationsof132kVareMirpurSakroandThatta.Sincethereisaweaksinglecircuitof132kVbetweenMirpurSakroandThatta,developingofnewGridof132kVfromtheareaofKhuttikunandBhanboreuptoThattahasbeenstudied.4.Agradualapproachto

6、developtheGridinstageshavebeenadoptedanddeterminedthelimitingpointofexhaustingtheexistingandproposed132kVfacilitiesfortheevacuationofpowerfromtheinitialfasttrackWindFarms.Theinitialschemewouldbeasfollows;(a)Loopin-outthenewJhimpir-Nooriabad132kVdoublecircuitline
