2、:Mostofthe3DnumericalsimulationsofanaturaldraftCounterflowcoolingtowerarecompletedbyusingsoftwareFLUENT.DuetotheFluentisnotspeciallydesignedforthesimulationofthecoolingtower,theheatexchangerandresistancemodelsuppliedbyfluentdoesnotworkwellwiththepredictionoftheperformanceofthecoolingtower.Sooneheate
3、xchangerandresistanceanalysismodelmustbeestablishedbytheuserdefinefunctionoftheFLUENTsoftware.Inthispaper,theMerkeltheorywasembeddedintothediscreteparticlemodelofFLUENTsoftwareandthenthe3Dnumericalsimulationmethodofthewetnaturaldraftcoolingtowerwasestablished.Thecomparisonsbetweenthesimulationresult
