3、ciouslyatthesametime.Withtherapiddevelopmentofinternet,multimediaandcommunicationtechnology,protectionofdigitalmediacopyrighthasbeenpaidmoreattentionthaneverbefore，whichmakesthedigitalwatermarkingtechnologyconcernedbypeopleinparticular.Asanoveltechnology

4、,digitalwatermarkrisesinrecentyears，andofferedbrand-newthoughttorealizeeffectiveprotectionofintellectualproperty.Nowithasbecomearesearchhotspotinthefieldofmultimediainfoimationsecurity.Thisdissertationfocusesonwaveletsandtheirapplicationalgorithmsforimag

5、edigitalwatermarking.InDWTdomain，mostenergyofimageconvergeinapproximationsubband,whenlargeamountsofdataareembeddedinthissubband,boththePSKRvalueandthevisualqualityofthewatermarkedimagedropgreatly.Soweembedwatermarkindetailsubbands.ThoughmanyDWT-basedwate

6、rmarkingalgorithmsarepresentednow，fewofthemdiscusstheissuethatwhichdetailsubbandisabetterchoicetoembedwatermark.Throughalargenumberofexperiment,wedrawaconclusionthatwatermaikinginthesubbandswithhigherRMSvalueismorerobusttoGaussiannoiseandJPEGcompression.
