3、reoutlinedinthispaper:Theprincipal,thebiologicalmechanisms,thecharacteristicsandtheapplicationoftheGAarepresented,Meanwhile,someclassicalimprovedGAtomakeupfortheshortcomingsofGAanditswidespreadapplicationshavebeenintroduced.Onthebasisofthat,anewmethod一一Immu
4、neGeneticAlgorithmbasedonGAwasproposed.Theoriginandthedevelopmentofmobilerobotarealsooutlinedinthispaper.Themobilerobot’Sprospectaspectinthefuture一-intelligentrobothasbeenpresented.Thepathplanningformobilerobotsisthemostimportantaspectofintelligentrobot.The
5、generalconceptions,characteristic,classifybasedissueandsomefamiliarmethodsofpathplanningarepresented.OnthebasisofGA,accordingtothecharacteristicsofthepathplanningofmobilerobotsinthestaticenvironment,anewmethod—-ImmuneGeneticAlgorithmwithElitism(IGAE)-一waspr
6、oposed.ThismethodisusedtosettlesomemajordrawbacksofGAsuchaspremature,stickstolocaloptimumeasily,lowlocalsearchabilityandslowspeedofconvergence.ThepathplanningofmobilerobotsbasedonIGAEincludestwosteps:thefirststepisadoptingthegridtheorytoestablishthefreespac
