4、rkperformanceinapublic-areawire-networkperformance;(2)tocharacterizewirelessusersintermsoflessnetworkusingatracerecordedoverthreedaysattheACMaparameterizedmodelforusewithanalyticandsimulationstud-SIGCOMM'01conferenceheldatU.C.SanDiegoinAugust2001.iesinvolvingwireles

5、sLANtraffic;and(3)toapplyourworkloadThetraceconsistsoftwoparts.Thefirstpartisarecordofperfor-analysisresultstoissuesinwirelessnetworkdeployment,suchasmancemonitoringdatasampledfromwirelessaccesspoints(APs)capacityplanning,andpotentialnetworkoptimizations,suchasal-serv

6、ingtheconference,andthesecondconsistsofanonymizedgorithmsforloadbalancingacrossmultipleaccesspoints(APs)inpacketheadersofallwirelesstraffic.Bothpartsofthetracespanawirelessnetwork.thethreedaysoftheconference,capturingtheworkloadof300,000flowsfrom195usersconsuming4.6GB

7、ofbandwidth.1.INTRODUCTIONThehigh-levelgoalsofourstudyarethree-fold.First,wewanttoAdvancesincommunicationtechnologyandtheproliferationofsupplementtheexistingdomainknowledgeaboutwirelessuserbe-lightweight,hand-helddeviceswithbuilt-in,high-speedradioac-haviorandwirele
