2、eeGorges-Changzhou3GCHVDClink(Fig.1)andtheexistingGezhouba-Shanghai±500kVDCTransmissionSystem.Thesystemsinvolvedinthe(GeSha)HVDCsystemandtosomeextentthefutureThreestudyweretheCentralChinaandEastChinaSystemsGorges-Shanghai(3GS)HVDClink(2010).TheSichua

3、ninterconnectedwithThreeGorges-ChangzhouHVDClinkandSystem(intheprovincetothewest)willalsobeconnectedtotheexistingGezhouba-ShanghaiHVDCsystem.Timesimulations,frequencyscanningandeigenvalueanalysistheCentralChinaSystemsynchronously.havebeenappliedforat

4、horoughinvestigationofthepossibleTheThreeGorges(3G)HydroPowerstation(with14unitsmeansofenhancingsystemstability.Smallsignalstability(smallof700MWintheLeftBanksectionandlaterfurther12unitsdisturbances)andtransientstability(largedisturbances)haveof700M

5、WintheRightBank)willbemajorcomponentsinthusbeeninvestigated.ThebasicresonancepatternswithrespecttheCentralChinaSystem.ofdampingpropertieswereidentifiedaswellassomelocalcausesofstabilitydistortions.Thestudyshows,thatinviewofitslocation,theintroduction

6、ofthedampingcontrollerintheThreeGorges-ChangzhouHVDClinkhasverylimitedabilityfordampingtheinter-areaoscillations.ThestudyhashowevershownthatoneeffectivemeantoimprovethedampinginCentralChinaSystemistointroducethedampingcontrolbyPowerSystemStabilizers(
