3、nsingdevices.Theinitialstructureofthefilmsconsistsofnanocrystallineanatase(;8nm).Exposureofthefilmstotemperatures.400°Cresultsinthenucleationandsubsequentrapidgrowthofrutilegrains(finalgrainsize.300nm).In-situ,hot-stageexperimentsintheTEMwerecarriedout,whichrevealeddetailsaboutthenucleati

6、stileenvironments(suchasintheautomotiveexhaustmanifold)(1).Manyoftheapplicationstitania-basedsystemsaredesignedforrequirednanocrystallinepowdermaterialshavinglargesurfacetobulkratios(e.g.sensors,catalysts,solarcells).Nanocrystallinetitaniacanbedepositedonsubstratesintheformofthickandthinf
