4、mitednumberofcontributions,carefullyeditedandcloselyrelatedtoeachother.Eachcontribu-tionshouldcontainatleastpartlyoriginalandpreviouslyunpublishedmaterial,bewritteninaclear,pedagogicalstyleandaimedatabroaderreadership,especiallygraduatestudentsandnonspecialist
5、researcherswishingtofamiliarizethemselveswiththetopicconcerned.Forthisreason,traditionalproceedingscannotbeconsideredforthisseriesthoughvolumestoappearinthisseriesareoftenbasedonmaterialpresentedatconferences,workshopsandschools.AcceptanceAprojectcanonlybeacce
6、ptedtentativelyforpublication,byboththeeditorialboardandthepublisher,followingthoroughexaminationofthematerialsubmitted.Thebookproposalsenttothepublishershouldconsistatleastofapreliminarytableofcontentsoutliningthestructureofthebooktogetherwithabstractsofallco
7、ntributionstobeincluded.Finalacceptanceisissuedbytheserieseditorincharge,inconsultationwiththepublisher,onlyafterreceivingthecompletemanuscript.Finalacceptance,possiblyrequiringminorcorrections,usuallyfollowsthetentativeacceptanceunlessthefinalmanuscriptdiffer
