2、ndSpringer-VerlagBerlinHeidelberg2011Abstract:Inordertocarryoutdecolorization,sludgeproteinsolution,adarkbrownclosetoblacksolutionfrom60activatedsludge,wassubjectedtoCoγ-rayirradiationinthepresenceofhydrogenperoxide.UV/Visspectropho-tometricmethodwasusedtoinvestigatetheeffectofH2O2ontheco
3、lorationapparentkineticsandrateconstantsofsludgeproteinsolutionunderγ-rayirradiation.Inaddition,theeffectsofirradiationdose,initialsludgeproteinsolutionconcentration,andpHvalueonthedecolorizationefficiencyofsludgeproteinsolutionwerestudied.Resultsshowedthatthedecolorizationapparentkinetic
4、sofsludgeproteinsolutionwasafirst-orderreaction.Thesolutiondecoloriza-tionpercentageincreasedwiththeincreaseofirradiationdoseorthedecreaseofinitialsludgeproteinsolutionconcen-tration.TheexaminationresultsofpHvalueshowedthatthesludgeproteinsolutioncouldbemoreefficientlydecolor-izedinalkali
