3、andcultivationperiod,andthereleaseruleoforganicslow—releasefertilzer.Theprimarilyresultsareasfollows:Thevolumetricratiovermiculitetotheslow-releaseorganicfertilizerwas30:1inseedlingperiod.Undertheoptimalratio,thephysiologiealindiceofcucumberseedlings,suchas
4、relativeprolificacyindex,soundseedlingindex,chlorophyllcontent’androotactivity,werebetter.Thecomprehensivecomparisonshowedthatthisratiowasbest,andunderthisoptimalratiothesoundseedlingsofcucumbercouldbecultured,andtheirrigationbyclearwatercouldreplacetheirri
5、gationbynutrientfluid,andthereforetheseedlingmanagementcouldbesimplified.Thevolumetricratiovermiculitetotheslow-releaseorganicfertilizerwas20:1incultivationperiod.ResultsshowedthatOSRFpossessedthecharacteristicsofoverallsupplyandslow—releaseofnutrients.Thep
6、lantheight,stemdiameter,leafarea,numberofleavesandfreshfruitweightofOSRFweresuperiortothoseofthecontr01.TheaveragefreshfruitweightappliedwithOSRFwashigherthanthatofthecontrolby35.6%.Underthisratio,thebestperformanceofgrowthandyieldofcucumberwasachieved.Thee
