4、sabyproductofremotechannelat0.940k0.025pmor0.905+0.015pmtothatinasensingoftheatmospherictemperatureprofiles.Thederivednonabsorbingchannelat0.865+0.020pmisproposedtoretrievethecolumnwatervaporoverland.watervaporprofiledependsinpartontheinitialguessforLOWTRAN-7codewasusedtosimulateremotesensingo

6、hod.ThechannelselectionminimizestheuncertaintyinthederivedwatervaporcomparisonbetweentotalprecipitablewatervaporderivedbyduetovariationsinthespectraldependenceofthesurfaceinversionoftheHIRSiMSUdataandradiosondemeasure-reflectance.Theselectionalsominimizesthesensitivityofthementshasyetbeenpubli
