3、rveeachunit’smovementbyeye.Evenifyouwishtodirectlyinstallthemanipulatorsinyourrig,itisusefultofollowtheinitialsetupproceduretolearnhowtomovetheunitstoalloweasyaccesstothemountingscrews.1.ConnectthepowercordtothepowerentrymoduleonthebackoftheMPC-200controller.POWERCO

4、RDCONNECTFUSEHOLDERMANIPULATORSDAISYCHAINSECONDCONNECTROE-200CONTROLLER2.WiththepowerOFF(frontpanelswitchinthe“0”position),connecttheROE-200inputboxtotheMPC-200controllerusingtheRJ-458-conductorcable.*UsetheCONTROLLERoutputonthebackoftheROEandtheCOMMANDINPUTonthebac

5、kofthecontroller.3.WiththepowerOFF,runaDB-25cablefromeachofthetwoMP-285/MmechanicalstotheDB-25connectorsmarked“MANIPULATORA”and“MANIPULATORB”onthebackofthecontroller.**NOTE:NeverconnectordisconnecttheROEortheMP-285/Mwhilethepowerison!Afterallconnectionsaremade,power

6、uptheMPC-200usingthe0/Iswitchonthefrontofthecontroller.Asitinitializes,youwillseeastartupscreenontheROE-200thatbrieflydisplaysthenameofthedeviceandtheversionoftheinstalledfirmware.AsthepowerswitchistheonlycontrolyouwillneedtoaccessontheMPC-200,thecontrollercanultima

7、telybeplacedinanoutofthewaylocation(e.g.underyourbench).Oncethestart-upsequencehasfinished,youwillseeadisplaythatgivesthecoordinatesofthemanipulator.TheLEDmarked1willlightandthelefthandcornerofthedisplayshows“DriveA”toindicatethattheROEisreadytooperatethemanipulator

8、connectedattheMANIPULATORAoutput.Confirmthatyougetacoordinatedisplayandthatyouhaveremovedtheshippingscrewsfrombothmanipulators.Ifyoudonotg
