4、yaffiliatedtotheMinistryofEducationandamemberofthe“211Project”and“985innovationplatformforpreponderantdiscipline”universities.OurschoolwasfoundedonthebasisofthePetroleumEngineeringDepartmentofTsinghuaUniversityintheyearof1953,namedasBeijingPetroleumInstitute.Butduetotheunfo
5、rtunateevent,itwasmovedtoShandongProvinceandchangeditsnameintoEastChinaPetroleumInstitute.Duringthisperiodoftime,ourschoolhastwocampusesintwoplaces.ChinaUniversityofPetroleumisahighereducationinstitutionco-constructedbytheMinistryofEducation,fourleadingpetroleumandpetrochem
6、icalcompanies(CNPC,SINOPEC,CNOOC,andCHEMCHINA)andthePeople’sGovernmentofShandongProvince.Throughoversixdecades,ChinaUniversityofPetroleumhasbecomeanengineering-orienteduniversitywithcharacteristicsofpetroleumscienceandformedasystemwithvariousdisciplinessuchasscience,managem
