5、mericPTCmaterialheatsupanditsresistanceincreasessharply.Suchasharpresistanceincrease(toaninsulatedstatus)cutsoffthecurrentinthecircuit,andconsequentlyprotectstheelementanddeviceinthecircuit.Uponfaultcurrentbeingremoved,theresettablefusecoolsanditsresistancedropstotheoriginalextremelylowvalue.The

6、resettablefuseis“reset”andallowsthecurrentthroughthecircuitagain.TRIPCURRENT,HOLDCURRENTANDTHERMALDERATINGTripCurrent(IT)andHoldCurrent(IH)ofFUZETECresettablefuseareratedat23℃.TypicallyitsTripCurrentistwiceasmuchasitsHoldCurrent.FUZETECdevicedoesnottripatorbelowitsratedHoldCurrent,andwilltripa
