1、英语应用能力考试语法讲座主谓一致谓语动词用单数的情况1.and连接的两个或三个单数的主语前如果有every,each,no修饰时。Eg.Everyman,woman,andgirlneedslove.Eachgirlandboywasgivenabook.Noboyandnogirllikesit.2.由either,neither,each,one,another,anybody,anyone,anything,nothing,nobody,noone,something,everything,everyone等作主语时。Eg.Everythinggoesonwell.Hehastwoso
2、ns.Oneisateacher,theotherisanengineer.3.manya和morethanone等作单数主语的定语时。Eg.Manyastudentwantstogothere.Morethanonepersonwaskilledintheaccident.4.表示时间、数目、价格、距离等的复数名词作主语，作为整体看待时。Eg.Fourhoursisenoughtodotheexperiment.Twentyyearsisalongtime.Tendollarsistoomuchtopayforthatshirt.Thirtyfeetislongenough.5.有些名词以
3、-s结尾，如：maths,physics,politics,news,等学科名词，抽象名词，专有名词（如：theUnitedStates,theUnitedNation）等作主语时。Eg.TheUnitedStateswasfoundedin1776.Physicsisveryinteresting.Wealllikeit.6.单个的动名词、不定式、主语从句作主语时。Eg.Drivingacarisnotsoeasy.Togetupearlyishardforme.若and连接两个动名词、不定式短语或主语从句表示两个不同概念时，谓语用复数。Eg.Ridingontheelephantsand
4、rowingtheboatswerethechildren’sfavoritegames.7.如果and连接的两个词是指同一个人、同一个事物或同一概念，则两个名词共用一个冠词，谓语动词必须用单数。Eg.Theteacherandwriterisherfriend.Thesingeranddanceristoattendtheparty.8.and连接的两个名词表示组合在一起的一个整体或成套的东西，若需要冠词，则只能在第一个名词前加a/an/the，作主语时，谓语动词用单数。常作为一个整体概念看待的组合有：breadandbutter黄油面包breadandcheese涂奶酪的面包aknife

6、数的情况1.表示成双成套的名词，如：trousers,shoes,glasses,compasses,socks,gloves,clothes等作主语时。Eg.Hisblacktrousersaremuchtoolong.Yourglassesarerightonyournose.Clotheskeeppeoplewarm.Eg.Threepairsofsockshavebeenboughtwithinaweek.ThispairofcompasseswasboughtinBeijing.Apairofteenageboysweresmokingcigarettes.2.有些名词本身表示复数
