3、soknownasspikeanchors,amongothernames),patchanchors(utilizingunidirectionalandbidirectionalfabrics),nailedmetalplates(alsoknownashybridbonding),near-surfacemountedrods,mechanicalfastening,concreteembedment,andmechanicalsubstratestrengthening.AnchoragesappliedtoFRP

4、systemshavebeenverifiedthroughexperimentaltestingandnumericalmodelingtoincreasetheductility,deformability,andstrengthofthememberandalsoprevent,delay,orshiftthecriticalmodeofFRPdebondingfailure.Althoughthebenefitsofanchoragesolutionshavenowbeenwidelyacknowledgedbyr

5、esearchers,furtherstudiesarerequiredinordertoestablishreliabledesignformulationstonegatetherequirementforongoinglaboratoryverificationbyindustry.Thepresentpaperisastate-of-the-artreviewofexperimentalstudiesconductedintheareaofFRPanchoragesystemsappliedtoFRP-streng
