2、ngmagnetcomplexesareusedinBEPC/interactionregion.Thecorre-spondingquenchprotectionsystemdividesallrelatedfaultsintotwoclassesandtakesdifferentprotectionactionsaccordingtotheurgencydegree.SinceBEPC/hastwooperatingmodesandthesuperconductingmagnetsusedifferent
3、powersuppliesindifferentoperatingmodes,thequenchprotectionsystemmusttakethemodeswitchingintoconsideration.KeywordsBEPC/IRsuperconductingmagnetcomplex,quenchprotectionsystem,quenchprotectionlogic1IntroductionBEPC/isanupgradeprojectofBEPC,theBeijingElectronP

5、utschematic.beusedoneachsideoftheinteractionpoint(IP).TheBEPC/interactionregion(IR)superconduct-ingmagnetcomplexconsistsof3anti-solenoid(AS1,AS2,AS3),1quadrupole(SCQ),1dipole(SCB,alsousedasahorizontaldipolecorrectorHDCincollidermode)and2setsofcorrectorcoi
6、l(VDC,SKQ).AS1,AS2andAS3,togethernamedAS,arepoweredwithone1300AunipolarpowersupplyinserieswhileAS2Fig.2.ThepowerconnectionconfigurationforAS.andAS3havetheirindependenttrimpowersupplies[1—3]toachievefinetuning.ThemagnetcoillayoutSimulationsindicatethatthesto
