2、ytheSTARcollaboration.Ananalyzingpowerconsistentwithzerohasbeenobservedoverabroadrangeinpseudorapiditysumofthetwojetswithrespecttothepolarizedbeamdirection.Anon-zero(Sivers)correlationbetweentransversemomentumdirectionofpartonsintheinitialstateandtransversespinorientationoftheparentpro-tonhasb

3、eenpreviouslyobservedinsemi-inclusivedeepinelasticscattering(SIDIS).ThepresentmeasurementsaremuchsmallerthandeducedfrompredictionsmadeforSTARdi-jetsbasedonnon-zeroquarkSiversfunctionsdeducedfromSIDIS,andfurthermoreindicatethatgluonSiversasymmetriesarecomparablysmall.Keywords:ppcollisions,RHIC,
