4、kingstructureaccordingtohexagonalclosepackedstructure)andlong-periodstacking(LPS)phase.TensiletestsofMg97Zn1Y2alloyincomparisonwithpureMgwereconducted.Thefracturemorphologiesofthetensilespecimenswerecharacterizedandthemicrostructuresnearfracturesurfacewereobser

5、ved.TheresultsshowthattherolledMg97Zn1Y2alloyshowsamixedfracturemodeincludingdimplesindicatingaductilefracturepatternandasmallfractionofcleavageplanesindicatingabrittlefracturepattern,whichisdifferentfromthesinglebrittlefractureoftheas-castalloy.Inaddition,thep

6、lasticdeformationismainlyfromdislocationsinducedstrainwithsmallstrengtheningeffectduringplasticdeformationintheas-castMg97Zn1Y2alloy,andthestrainhardeningrateissimilartothatoftheas-castpuremagnesium.ThedeformationmechanismofMg97Zn1Y2alloyisdifferentfromthatofth

7、epuremagnesiumaccordingtoametallographicalobservationthatwhethertwinsarefoundornot.ThestrengtheningeffecthardlyexistsintherolledMg97Zn1Y2alloyunderthesamedislocationsinducedstrain,whichisdifferentfromthatoftheas-castalloywithmoderatestrengtheningeffect.Keywords
