4、on,differencesincarbonsequestrationpatternandnetecosystemproduction(NEP)weredeterminedbetweentwo36-year-oldplantationsofbroadleavedspecies,CastanopsiskawakamiiandCunninghamialanceolata,inSanming,Fujian.Annualnetcarbonsequestrationwas131639and-2-161599tC#
5、hma,respectively,intheC.kawakamiiandtheC.lanceolata,amongwhichtheannualbiomassCincrementandthelitterfallproductionwasevenlydistributed.Totheannualnetcarbonsequestration,thecontributionofstem(woodplusbark)incrementwasmuchlower,andthatofbranchincrementwasm
6、uchhigherintheC.kawakamiithanintheC.lanceolata(2616%versus4013%,and1115%versus013%).Inbothplantation,theaboveandbelowgroundlitterfallaccounted60%-2-1and40%respectivelyfortheannuallitterfallproduction,whichwasestimated71183tC#hmaintheC.kawakamiiand-2-1315
7、54tC#hmaintheC.lanceolata.AnnualsoilheterotrophicrespirationwasresponsibleforaClossof51983and21984-2-1t#hmafromsoiltoatmosphereintheC.kawakamiiandtheC.lanceolata,respectively.Carbonbalanceanalysisshowed-2-1therewereapositivenetecosystemproduction(Csink),
