3、urhands.Andwewilluseittolightuptheworld.Iamheretonighttodeliveramessageofunityandstrength,anditisamessagedeeplydeliveredfrommyheart.AnewchapterofAmericanGreatnessisnowbeginning.AnewnationalprideissweepingacrossourNation.Andanewsurgeofoptimismisplacingimpossibledreamsfirmlywithinourgrasp.Whatwearewi

5、dependence.Itwillbeoneofthegreatmilestonesinthehistoryoftheworld.5ButwhatwillAmericalooklikeaswereachour250thyear?Whatkindofcountrywillweleaveforourchildren?Iwillnotallowthemistakesofrecentdecadespasttodefinethecourseofourfuture.Fortoolong,we'vewatchedourmiddleclassshrinkaswe'veexportedourjobsandwe
6、althtoforeigncountries.We'vefinancedandbuiltoneglobalprojectafteranother,butignoredthefatesofourchildrenintheinnercitiesofChicago,Baltimore,Detroit--andsomanyotherplacesthroughoutourland.We'vedefendedthebordersofothernations,whileleavingourownborderswideopen,foranyonetocross--andfordrugstopourinata
