4、ntsdocumenthasbeenwrittentoonlycoverthetechnicalinterconnectionrequirementsforgenerationsystemsutilizingaGridTieInverter.Ifyoursystem1)isratedover40kW;2)doesnotqualifyunderPURPArulesandregulations;and3)doesnotuseaGridTieInverter,thenthisdocumentdoesnotfullycovertheTechnicalRequir

5、ementsforinterconnectingyoursystem.Pleaserefertothe“DakotaElectricAssociationInterconnectionRequirements”.While,thisstandardprovidestheTechnicalRequirementsforinterconnectingaGenerationSystemwithatypicalradialdistributionsystem,itisimportanttonotethattherearesomeuniqueAreaEPS,whi

6、chhavespecialinterconnectionneeds.OneexampleofauniqueAreaEPSwouldbeoneoperatedasa“networked”system.Thisstandarddoesnotcovertheadditionalspecialrequirementsofthosesystems.TheInterconnectionCustomermustcontacttheOwner/operatoroftheAreaEPSwithwhichtheinterconnectionisintended,tomake
