6、lteringfreeofdecisioncameintoexistencefirst.Decision-basedtechniquesappearednext.Thiswasfollowedbymultiple-modelalgorithms,whichhavebecomequitepopular.Morerecently,nonlinearfilteringtechniques,suchassamplingbasedalgorithms,havebeengainingmoment.Thispartsurveysdecision-basedtechniq
7、uesforMTT,thatis,techniquesinwhichakeycomponentisexplicitdecisionsontargetmaneuver.Insubsequentparts,multiple-modelapproach,exactandapproximatenonlinearfilters,andsamplingbasedalgorithmswillbesurveyed;performanceanalysisandevaluationaswellasapplicationswillbeaddressed.Asummarypar
