3、nnedeconomytoasocialistmarketeconomy.MarketpowerinChinaisreflectedlargelyinadministrativemonopoliesinheritedfromtheoldsystem,aswellasineconomicmonopoliescreatedbythenewsystem.Administrativemonopoliesareworsethaneconomicmonopoliesintermsofthedistortionoftransactionbehavio
4、randthepreclusionofmarketcompetition.TheyhavebecomeapressingissuefacingChinainitseconomicandsocialdevelopment.Chinahasbeendevelopingalegislativeframeworkonmarketcompetition,butthisframeworkcurrentlyappearsweakandpower-lessinthefaceoftheadministrativemonopolies.However,t
