1、摘要区域经济差异是区域发展过程中的一种普遍现象，区域经济发展不均衡的失控是威胁社会和谐及协调发展的极大障碍。地处中部地区的湖南省，经济发展比较落后，虽然改革开放以来经济建设取得了很大成就，但省内区域经济差异不断扩大，逐渐成为影响经济发展、社会稳定的重要因素。在这种背景下，本文针对湖南省区域经济差异问题进行分析，并提出了相应的区域协调发展对策。本文以区域经济相关理论为依据，在总结前人研究成果的基础上，首先采用单一人均GDP指标法，计算湖南省各区域之间的绝对差异和相对差异，得出绝对差异急剧扩大，相对差异平缓增长的结论。然后采

2、用主成分分析法对湖南省101个地区进行分析，计算出各地区经济发展水平综合评价值，进一步利用K均值聚类分析法将湖南省101个地区划分成五个不同的经济发展层次。根据实证分析结果，找出区域经济差异的空间分布特征，并从自然、区位、历史、产业结构、投资等几方面对湖南省区域经济差异的形成原因加以探讨，提出了一系列缩小区域经济差异，促进区域经济协调发展的措施，最后总结出湖南省个地区经济协调发展模式。关键词：湖南省，区域经济差异，协调发展ABSTRACTRegionaleconomicdisparityisacommonphenomen
